What will be your impact?

    You understand the divisional operations and how they drive the financial results of the group and manage a team of Assistant Controller and Financial Analysts.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timely completion of the monthly and quarterly financial statements under IFRS and, as part of it, you review and analyse the monthly results and variances and you prepare the reporting to senior management.
  • You prepare revenue recognition schedules and related journal entries for all contracts from where revenue is recognized (e.g., software implementation contracts and contracts with recurring revenue).
  • You assist with forecasting of net revenues and operating expenses as well as in the management of divisional work-in-process and accounts receivable and provide support to the divisional EVP’s and VP’s as needed.
  • You assist in due diligence and integrating of new acquisitions into the finance group, execute special projects and are the point of contact for requirements for ad hoc reports as needed.
  • You prepare information requests and responding to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit; and you interact with internal and external auditors and you ensure that established control procedures are in place and identify control risks.
What are we looking for?
  • Completion of a professional accounting designation program (CPA) is required.
  • Several years of professional experience as Assistant Controller or Controller;
  • Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Practical knowledge and experience of Great Plains and BPC;
  • Strong communication and people skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment;
  • Ability to work independently and balance competing demands;
  • Independent, conscientious and results-oriented working style;
