Our sales team in Berlin, Hamburg, and Rheine are committed to building the attractive business case of developing wind farms with Vestas technology through good business relationships, customized offerings, and optimal customer support.
As our new Sales Coordinator (f/m/d) you will join a team of experienced and highly committed sales professionals. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of our region through your know-how and commitment.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the management of the entire internal sales process from start to finish
Gather and analyse project cost, estimate and prepare project cost calculations based on customer requirements
Perform sales opportunity analysis, develop sales capture plans and work with the sales project team to determine the optimal bid for a given project opportunity
Contribute to the bid preparation process, create tender submissions, and ensure that the bids are submitted on time
Establish and maintain correspondence with customers and update the CRM database
Support the sales manager in contracting and negotiations
Occasionally attend exhibitions, conferences, and customer events
Work across departments and functions to direct and coordinate activities and deliverables within the sales project team and other internal and external stakeholders
Throughout your work you collaborate closely with our supporting departments Construction, Transport and Supply Chain to get relevant inputs and ensure the successfulness of your projects
Qualifications
We expect you to come from a commercial and technical focused background, you will have a degree in business administration, engineering, or related subject with the motivation to join a thriving sales community in Vestas
Fluent in English and German is a prerequiste
You will be truly enthusiastic about renewables and wish to contribute actively and tangibly to making the world a better place
Competencies
You have effective communication skills and can convey information clearly and concisely
Able to influence internal stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization
Have a natural ability to create trust and sustainable relationships
You are independent and your colleagues can count on you to take ownership of your work and deliverables
Experienced in or interested in developing financial modelling skills and able to both generate and draw insight from key financials, as well as communicate them effectively
You have the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions, prioritize properly, and bring the willingness to go the "extra mile"
Service-oriented while engaging, with a good work ethic and comfortable working in an international environment
An eagerness to learn new things and to show full engagement
