YOUR MISSION
-
In partnership with Merchandising Planning, build the most profitable, balanced, customer-focused range and create channel-specific collections which reflects the brand strategy and showcases PUMA appropriately in each ecommerce channel (PUMA.com and several marketplaces in Europe)

Develop seasonal buying strategy, reviewing and identifying product opportunities based on financial KPIs and future market trends

Support brand initiatives and marketing campaigns through selection of key products into assortments in appropriate width

Work with Merchandise Planner on assortment selection and ranking as input to forecast and agree on final buy quantities based on qualitative and quantitative data

Create retail exclusive products and assortments per channel based on consumer insights and future trend expectations

Present product ranges to executive management and internal ecommerce stakeholder and explain buying strategy, trends and market developments

Work closely with ecommerce On-site Merchandising and Trading teams to visually translate buy strategy on web side

Influencing European product offering through cooperation with global and regional merchandising teams and business units

Build a strong relationship with the global and regional merchandising teams, and business units to drive alignment between retail and wholesale in the European market
YOUR TALENT
-
1-2 years of work experience in retail buying within sports-lifestyle and/or sports-performance industry in Europe, preferably in ecommerce
-
Good understanding of seasonal merchandise buying and product cycles management
-
Solid knowledge about buying and merchandise planning KPIs
-
Profonde product affinity and awareness of current trends and competitors of the European sports-lifestyle and/or sports-performance market
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced and matrix organization
-
Collaborative work ethnics and respectful way of communication
-
Preferably university degree in related areas from business to fashion backgrounds
-
Business language is English in a very international team

Based in HQ Herzogenaurach:
