Job Title: Internship, Commercial Operations / Fulfillment / Order Management

Location: Frankfurt / Gateway Garden, Germany
Duration: 5-6 months, ideally July to December 2023

Basic Job Functions:
The intern will be responsible for supporting First Solar’s business operations in European markets. He/she will work closely with colleagues in Sales, BD Operations, Sales and Fulfillment, and further support functions to ensure the timely and profitable sale of First Solar technology.
Responsibilities:
- Help and support to coordinate all key functions associated with the execution and development of sales opportunities (including Change Orders, Milestones, Reporting)
- Maintain our CRM Tool (Salesforce) and support implementation of new ERP System
- Enter Sales Orders and changes to Sales Order
- Support improvement or development of tools and templates used
- Support market analysis and preparations of internal presentations
- Answer and redirect Sales Inquiries
- Help to coordinate with cross functional teams within First Solar to execute the business plan
- Respect corporate governance and compliance rules such as FCPA
Professional and personal qualifications:
- Enrolled in University/University of applied science in business administration or engineering.
- First experiences in fast-paced, project-oriented international business environments are favorable.
- Good command of English. Additional languages (French, Spanish, German) are favorable.
- Good degree of motivation, discipline, reliability and self-organization
- High level of detail orientation and good analytical skills
- Ability to accomplish tasks timely, creatively, and independently.
- Good communication skills
