What you'll do
The Business Area Controlling (BAC) Engineering team is part of Global Controlling. We are responsible to actively manage financials for SAP’s technology and development units and are trusted business partner for their leaders. To successfully manage this task and to further strengthen our support we are looking for an intern or working student.
As an intern / working student you will be an active member of the team supporting the full range of controlling tasks that are covered by our team like ensuring master data quality, run analysis, prepare, report and present to peers and business partner and support business cases or special topics.
You will support us in transforming financial data into insights to enable our development leaders to make the right decisions.
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) of a university or a university of applied sciences in Business Administration, Economics or likewise with very good results (1-2 years of studies left).
- Ability to work in a team
- High personal level of quality awareness
- Analytically skilled and highly result driven
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- First working experience in the area of Finance & Controlling would be a plus

In strong partnership with all Controlling teams, we are providing a best-in-class support to all our customers, by focusing on the information that matters most. Our insights and forward-looking guidance enable our leaders to make the right decisions and steer their business towards SAP’s ambitious goals. This contains:
- Support in managing the financial performance of development units and projects.
- Support of Business Unit Controllers in various activities such as quarter end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to management.
- Support driving 3rd party costs analysis, monitoring purchase orders, updating analysis, and managing internal orders.
- Proactive interaction and communication with other team members, managers, and other internal customers in an international environment.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
